Emergencies

  • · Fire incidents, such as incipient fires, smoke detectors, and technical malfunctions
  • · Bomb threats in public buildings, such as schools, government offices, businesses, and events
  • · Hazardous substance releases, such as chemical spills, gas leaks, and accidents involving hazardous materials

Yes, if an evacuation and rescue plan is required due to the location, size, or use of a workplace, drills must be conducted at appropriate intervals in accordance with that plan, Section 4(4) of the Workplace Safety Ordinance (ArbStättV); ASR A2.3 “Evacuation Routes and Emergency Exits.”

An emergency plan alone does not ensure safety. It is only through regular drills that procedures are internalized and responsibilities become clear.

Evacuation drills help to

  • To reduce uncertainties,
  • To reduce response times,
  • Avoiding mistakes under stress and
  • to enhance the safety of everyone in the building.

  • Fire safety and evacuation assistants, safety officers—they take on specific tasks
  • Employees
  • Executives
  • Third-Party Companies
  • Visitors, Dependents
The more realistic an exercise is, the greater the learning outcome.

An evacuation drill simulates an emergency situation; you can choose the “trigger” yourself. Once the alarm sounds, the building is evacuated in an orderly manner. We observe the process, document any irregularities, closely examine the timing, and then work with you to analyze areas for improvement.
